Play and Channel Rules
At #ScrabbleOn, we simply want players to enjoy their
experience with their games, chatting, making friends. We
try to provide an environment which is fun, safe and
is family oriented.
To maintain this type
of channel, we have to outline to our users what
is expected of them. These rules apply to everyone,
while they are #ScrabbleOn and sister channels.
Violation of any of
the rules will result in being removed (kicked) from
the channel. Three (3) kicks result in a ban. No
exceptions are given to these rules.
- No cursing
or flaming will be tolerated in the channels; these
are FAMILY channels;
- Users identified
with nicknames which appear offensive or simply
in bad taste, will be asked to change their nickname
or face being banned from channels;
- No idle
sitting permitted in channels if you are not playing
or waiting for a game;
- No flirting! This
is to be done in private chat;
- Violent actions
of any nature are not tolerated;
- Insulting of
other players and/or ops is not permitted. We are
here to play scrabble - NOT battle! If you have
an issue with another player, please ask to speak
with a Channel Operator.
- Popups are
not permitted in channels;
- Interfering with,
or ignoring of Channel Operators will not be tolerated.
It is their job to assist players and set up the
games.
- We address
each other by one's name and/or nickname. Terms
of endearment are to be kept private.
- Good sportsmanship
and being courteous is expected from each player,
at all times.
- English is
the ONLY language spoken in channels;
- Quitting of
a game is not tolerated! If you are disconnected
with your player, you are asked to wait five [5]
minutes for that player to return and resume the
game
- Age/sex/location [a/s/l]
questions are both rude and out of line and are
not permitted in the channels

In #SCRABBLEON,
we play the next available person. We do not allow
private chat to arrange games with other players.
This is not fair to other players waiting. We will
allow games to be organized in the main channel as
long as everyone is in arrangement. 3-4 player games
are fine with in #SCRABBLEON channel
as long as everyone is in arrangement.... Now....with
that all out of the way, Lets Scrabble!
