Useful Tips & Tricks for NetwordZ
There are several things
that the HELP file with NetwordZ cannot answer....but
we have found some tips and hints that have proven themselves
quite handy!
No
Clock? The hosting partner sets the
game rules. If your board is not showing
a timer, HOST will have to make adjustments as
follows: Open Networdz, go to Options, then
Rules. The ONLY box that should be checked
is the TOURNAMENT RULES box. Click Ok. Resume
with NEW game. View

Missing
Tiles: If rack does not show Seven (7) tiles,
reconfigure your board. Click
here for SETUP help.
Board
Colours Not Right? Reconfigure your board. Click
here for SETUP help.
TWL
or PODS? In ScrabbleOn, we play with TWL dictionary
- however we've a great deal of SOWPODS players
looking for action too! To change your dictionary
accordingly - do this quick fix: Go Dictionary,
Dictionary file. Highlight and double click
the dictionary desired. Click Ok.
Blankity,
Blank - Probably one of the most difficult
tasks using Networdz as this requires recalling
exactly WHICH order your blank tiles were received. If
playing a word using TWO blanks together, you will
need to call the exact order in how those blanks
were received on your rack.
Recalling
Saved Games - Only the host of a game can save
games. Both partners must start with new
boards. WFC partner will perform functions
as if a new game. Hosting partner will perform
following: Go Options, then Communicate. Select
Local/Dial Mode. Click Connect. Once
box grays, click Ok. Go to Game, Load Game. Highlight
and click OK on saved game file.
Its
YOUR Networdz! Set it how YOU want it! You
can play with preferences to set sound or not,
fast or slow tile animation, set to auto draw your
tiles or you select them individually...Its a matter
of playing with the preferences until you find
what you like! Go to Options, then Preferences. When
finished with your choices, click the OK button.
